The Nashik Appeals Commissionerate was created vide Notification No. 2/2017 - Central Tax dated 19th June, 2017. Prior to formation of this Commissionerate, the jurisdiction of this Commissionerate was falling under the jurisdiction of Commissioner (Appeals), C.Ex. & S.Tax, Nagpur.
The jurisdiction of Commissioner (Appeals) Nashik comprises the jurisdiction of Nashik CGST & C.Ex. Commissionerate and Aurangabad CGST & C.Ex. Commissionerate. The jurisdiction of CGST & C.Ex., Nashik Commissionerate comprises the whole District of Nashik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Ahmednagar and Nandurbar. The jurisdiction of CGST & C.Ex., Aurangabad Commissionerate comprises the whole District of Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Beed, Osmanabad, Nanded, Hingoli and Latur.
